This is something Q and I did over the course of 8 months or so in Toronto. We would love for you to PWYC (suggested $5) in order to download. All funds will go to the Thunder Bay Indigenous Friendship Centre.
The songs, memories, and friendship Q and I share all came from Thunder Bay, originally. As did all the people and friendships that really motivated us to record in the first place. But it's also a city where, even more-so than the rest of Canada, your experiences depend on your skin colour. We wanted to bring it back home, and try to make life a tiny bit brighter even just for a handful of people who use the centre's services.
There's so much more work to do.
